Beer Themed Shoes – Heineken / Newcastle / Miller High Life

2 July 2010 16 Comments

The connection between beer and Brand Shoes is being more tight. If  you are in the infatuation with beer like Heineken especial in the burnly summer, the beer inspired shoes will show you a entirely different story. The Nike Dunk SB Heineken were a hit amongst SB fans though the collaboration was unofficial. Inspired by “Miller High Life”, the kicks of choice are the timeless Dunk Low, decked out in a suede and perforated leather upper with the beer’s trademark color scheme in full swing.

Newcastle is thought to be the first place in Britain to brew beer. Legends aside, it is known that Newcastle’s first commercial brewery, John Barras & Company of Gateshead, was established here in 1770. Then, in 1890, after the Gateshead Brewery was bought by the North Eastern Railway Company, John Barras & Company purchased the Tyne Brewery and linked up with several small breweries in North Shields, Gateshead and Sunderland to form The Newcastle Breweries Ltd. via NewCastle.

Heineken is a Dutch brewing company, founded in 1864 by Gerard Adriaan Heineken in Amsterdam. As of 2007, Heineken owns over 119 breweries in more than 65 countries[2] and employs approximately 54,004[2] people. It brews and sells more than 170 international premium, regional, local and specialty beers, including Cruzcampo, Tiger Beer,Żywiec, Starobrno, Zagorka, Birra Moretti, Ochota, Murphy’s, Star and of course Heineken Pilsener. Heineken claims that the original Heineken recipe has not changed since the beer was first produced nearly 150 years ago. Via wikiedu
